Important Belmont Meeting & Public Forum Dates in October

October is a busy month for important town, committee and school meetings. Town officials are beginning discussions of a 2024 Tax Override,  plus proposed zoning changes, as well as the Fall Town Meeting.  This email highlights dates of specific meetings which CFRB considers key -- topics impacting the town budget, your taxes and our town. The intent is to offer you advance notice of important meetings, to encourage you to attend, and to SPEAK OUT!

As specific meetings draw closer, CFRB will highlight the agenda, with relevant commentary and suggestions of questions to be raised.  Every Select Board Meeting also offers the opportunity to raise questions or make comments on topics not on the agenda.  CFRB and Belmont needs voices  -- your voice - to ask these questions. CFRB will help you to structure and pose your question or comment.   Please email us at info@cfrbbelmont.org if you are interested in learning more, and in sharing your ideas and voice.

Take special note of the planned Budget Summits - The 2024 Override Budget  - and your tax bill increase - will be discussed.

(Meetings are hybrid - in person and via zoom; Some are also viewable live via Belmont Media Cable TV. See agenda for details)
